Hestsko Kennels is located in Old Ocean, Texas about an
hour southwest of the Houston area. Owned and operated by Dot Wallace, Hestsko began
approximately 31 years ago with the purchase of our first purebred puppy affectionately
called "Poochie". Later Poochie became Champion Kapricorn's Silver Gunda, C.D.
and produced our first homebred Champion Hestsko's Pistol Pete who was a multiple group
placer. From there we bred and finished many of our dogs always owner handled. We are
consistently producing winning show dogs and wonderful, loving companions. We strive to
breed only the best of the best by carefully screening for hip dysplasia and other
inherited disorders. Good temperament is always top priority - without it you do not have
a good pet.
